How to change the drive letter in Windows

Microsoft systems house is assigned a letter to any surface, inside or outside it, which is used to uniquely identify the device, is conventionally assigned the letters A, C, D and E respectively, floppy drive, local drive, CD / DVD burner, but nothing prevents the system to assign different letters, especially from the moment they have become obsolete floppy and CD / DVD player also serves most of the time to burn.
To change the letter of any drive, you must go to the Control Panel and follow these steps:
Enter "Administrative Tools> Computer Management" Go Arciviazione> Disk Management " Click with the right button on the volume to change and choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths" Click on "Change" from the pulldown menu and select the desired letterThe only unit which is not possible to change the drive letter is the place where the system resides.
